Woman Injured in Corpus Christi Car Crash near Staples and SPID

Corpus Christi, Texas (January 22, 2019) – An elderly woman was hospitalized after a two-vehicle accident that caused one of the vehicles to roll over on Monday morning in Corpus Christi.
The crash happened near Staples and SPID on Monday, January 21.
Police said a white SUV was pulling out of the shopping center when it entered the access road and collided with a small passenger car. The impact caused the passenger car to overturn.
The elderly woman in the passenger car was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the SUV was cited for failure to yield to oncoming traffic.
