Man Killed, Two Kids Injured in Bexar County Crash on Highway 90 near State Highway 211

Bexar County, Texas (May 31, 2023) – A man died and two children were injured following a DUI crash that happened early Monday morning in West Bexar County, authorities said.

The deadly crash happened at around 1:00 a.m. Monday, 29, in the eastbound lanes of Highway 90 West near State Highway 211.

According to the authorities, a pickup truck was traveling on the wrong side of the road when it struck a small car.

The man driving the small car was transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The pickup driver sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital. Two kids who were in the vehicle were hospitalized with minor injuries.

The pickup truck driver was charged with intoxication manslaughter, two counts of driving while intoxicated with children under 15 years old, and two counts of injury to a child with reckless bodily injury.

The crash remains under investigation.
