Driver Dies in San Diego Train Accident on N Bexar Street

San Diego, Texas (April 7, 2019) – A man was killed in a collision between a car and a train in San Diego on Thursday night, according to a local news source.
The incident occurred shortly before 11 p.m. April 3 in the 200 block of N. Bexar Street.
According to the news source, a 26-year-old man was trying to travel across the train tracks and failed to yield to the train. The train struck the car and derailed, landing on top of the car.
The car driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
