Man Killed in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 35

San Antonio, Texas (January 4, 2021) – A man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Sunday evening in San Antonio’s South Side, according to San Antonio police.

The fatal crash happened around 5:30 p.m., January 3, in the 3600 block of Interstate 35 frontage road.

Police said the man was attempting to merge his Mercedes back into the main lanes of oncoming traffic when he was clipped by a flatbed truck.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

No further details regarding the crash were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
