Man Critically Injured in Harris County Pedestrian Accident on 1960 at North Freeway
Harris County, Texas (December 17, 2021) – A man was critically injured early Friday morning in a pedestrian accident in north Harris County, according to the authorities.
The accident happened shortly after 12:30 a.m., at the intersection of FM 1960 and the North Freeway.
Authorities said the man ran across the highway towards the westbound lanes and was struck by a semi-truck.
The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Deputies said the man who was hit might be a suspect wanted for aggravated assault of a family member.
The semi-truck driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators. They did not show any signs of intoxication.
An investigation is underway.
