Man Seriously Injured in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident at Poteet Jourdanton Freeway and W. Villaret Boulevard

San Antonio, Texas (July 17, 2020) – A man was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident Thursday night in San Antonio, according to police.

The accident happened around 10:30 p.m. on July 16, at the intersection of Poteet Jourdanton Freeway and W. Villaret Boulevard.

Police said a driver was trying to stop at a red light at the intersection, but he realized his brakes were not working properly, and he hit a man who was walking in the crosswalk.

The driver stopped and called for help.

The victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

The police are investigating the crash.
