Smith County, Texas (May 7, 2022) – At least one was killed Friday night in a traffic collision in Smith County, according to a local news source.

The deadly crash occurred just before 9:00 p.m. Friday, May 6, on State Highway 31 east at County 246.

As per the report, two vehicles collided on the eastbound side of State Highway 31 at County 246.

At least one person died in the crash.

Motorists are asked to seek an alternate route.
