Marcus Sierra Killed in South Austin Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 35

Austin, Texas (December 9, 2021) – The man who was killed in a pedestrian accident early Saturday morning in South Austin has been identified as Marcus L. Sierra, 36, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 4:48 a.m., December 4, in the 6100 block of South Interstate 35.

Police said a Ford Escape was traveling southbound on the interstate when it struck Sierra.

Sierra was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Ford driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
