Mark Beercroft Injured in Shelby County Hit-and-Run Accident on State Highway 7
Shelby County, Texas (July 10, 2019) – A man was injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident Monday night, east of Center, according to a local news source.
The accident took place around 10:15 p.m. July 8, on State Highway 7.
DPS said Mark Beercroft, of Colorado, was walking eastbound on the highway when he was hit by an eastbound vehicle.
The impact knocked Beercroft into a nearby ditch.
The driver of the vehicle continued driving eastbound.
Beercroft was taken to a local hospital where he was treated and released.
Investigators believe the vehicle was a red pickup.
