Two Killed in Wrong-Way Crash on Matlock Road in South Arlington

2 Killed, 1 Seriously Injured in South Arlington Four-Vehicle Crash on Matlock Road

Arlington, Texas (January 31, 2020) – Two people were killed and another was seriously injured in a wrong-way crash Thursday night in South Arlington, according to the police.

The crash was reported around 7:20 p.m. on January 30, on Matlock Road near I-20.

According to investigators, a car was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of Matlock Road when it hit a northbound vehicle. Two other vehicles were also involved in the crash.

The wrong-way driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two people in the second vehicle were rushed to the hospital where one of them was declared dead. The other victim had serious injuries.

The other two drivers were treated at the scene with minor injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
