Man Killed in San Antonio Hit-and-Run on South Alamo Street and Probandt Street

San Antonio, Texas (March 26, 2023) – A man was killed early Saturday morning in a hit-and-run accident in San Antonio, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 1:25 a.m., March 25, near South Alamo Street and Probandt Street.

Police said a northbound Tesla went over a concrete island while turning a curve and struck a man on the sidewalk.

After striking the man, the driver crashed into a building and fled the scene on foot.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

When found, the Tesla driver will be charged with Failure to Stop and Render Aid- Death.

The police are investigating the crash.
