Member of Cy-Fair Fire Department Injured in Motorcycle Crash on FM 529 in Houston

Off-Duty Cy-Fair Firefighter Critically Injured in Houston Motorcycle Accident on FM 529 and Westgreen Boulevard

Houston, Texas (July 13, 2022) – A member of the Cy-Fair Fire Department was critically injured in a motorcycle accident Wednesday in Houston, authorities said.

The crash took place on FM 529 and Westgreen Boulevard.

A Jeep and a motorcycle were involved in the crash.

The off-duty firefighter was airlifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital in critical but stable condition and underwent surgery. It was not immediately clear which vehicle he was either riding or driving.

No further details about the crash were immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
