Gael Torres Killed in El Paso Two-Vehicle Crash on Ascension Road

El Paso, Texas (October 12, 2022) – Three people were killed, and another was injured early Monday morning in a head-on collision in east El Paso County, according to the deputies.

The fatal crash happened around midnight, on October 10, in the 1600 block of Ascension Road between Horizon City and Montana Vista.

Deputies said a Nissan Sentra and a Ford F-150 were involved in a head-on collision.

Three people in the Nissan were killed in the crash. They were between 18 and 20 years old. One of the victims has been identified as Gael Torres. 

A GoFundMe has been created to help with expenses and preparations for a memorial to be held for Torres.

The driver of the Ford was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

No other information was available.

The crash remains under investigation.
