Mother and Two Children Killed in Parker County Three-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 199

Parker County, Texas (December 29, 2020) – A mother and two young children were killed Monday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash in Parker County, just west of Springtown, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around noon, December 28, on State Highway 199, northwest of Fort Worth.

DPS said a 25-year-old mother was driving an SUV when she rear-ended a pickup truck that had slowed down to turn left. The impact caused the woman to lose control and enter into the westbound side, where her SUV was hit by a truck driven by a 72-year-old man.

The woman and two children, a 7-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl were killed in the crash.

The man was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The authorities are investigating the crash.

“When a person has suffered a grave personal injury in an accident due to someone else’s negligence, the most overwhelming emotion they feel is a sense of injustice. They often ask how such a life-altering event could have happened to them,” attorney Joel A. Gordon said. “The next question usually is, who can help me?” Mr. Gordon added.

A legal advocate can represent an injury victim or the family of a deceased victim. The attorney will file a claim on behalf of the victim and will have the responsibility of citing existing codes, laws, or statutes which were violated.
