Motorcyclist Injured in Crash at Vanderventer Avenue and Sout Pierce Street in San Angelo

One Injured in San Angelo Motorcycle Crash at Vanderventer Avenue and Sout Pierce Street

San Angelo, Texas – A motorcyclist was injured Friday afternoon in a crash at a San Angelo intersection near Angelo State University, according to the police.

The crash happened on January 26, at the intersection of Vanderventer Avenue and Sout Pierce Street.

Police said a white Honda Accord failed to yield the right of way to a motorcycle that was traveling westbound on Vanderventer, resulting in a collision.

The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Honda driver was cited for failing to yield to the right of way at a stop sign.

No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
