Multiple Injured in Midlothian Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 287 at Walnut Grove Road

Midlothian, Texas (January 3, 2020) – Multiple people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on New Year’s Day in Midlothian, according to a local news source.

The crash occurred around 7:00 p.m. January 1, at the intersection of Highway 287 and Walnut Grove Road.

Police said a pickup truck ran a red light at the intersection and crashed into Jeep that was turning left onto Highway 287 from Walnut Grove.

Three female juveniles in the Jeep were taken to local hospitals. One of them was airlifted with critical injuries.

The pickup driver was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
