Nicholas Stegemoller Injured in Head-On Crash on FM 50 near Snook

Nicholas Stegemoller Injured in Snook Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 50 

Snook, Texas (April 27, 2021) – Two people were injured Monday morning in a head-on collision involving an unmarked sheriff’s office vehicle near Snook, according to the DPS.

The crash was reported around 10:40 a.m., April 26, on FM 50.

DPS said a northbound 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier passenger car was fleeing from Texas Game Wardens while an unmarked Burleson County Sheriff’s Office 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe SUV was traveling southbound assisting the Game Wardens.

The Cavalier weaved into the oncoming lane and crashed head-on into the sheriff’s SUV.

The Cavalier driver, 28-year-old Nicholas Stegemoller of Washington, and his passenger were airlifted to St. Joseph Health Regional Hospital in Bryan with unknown injuries.

The deputy in the SUV was uninjured in the crash.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
