Obinna Ugbonta Killed in DWI Crash on Westpark Tollway in Harris County; Michael Tinubu Charged

Obinna Ugbonta Killed, Sister Injured in Harris County Crash on Westpark Tollway; Michael Tinubu Charged

Harris County, Texas (October 26, 2022) – According to the deputies, a 24-year-old man was killed, and his sister was injured in a crash on October 15 in Harris County.

The fatal crash happened in the 15100 block of the Westpark Tollway.

Deputies said Obinna Charles Ugbonta was helping his older sister, whose car had broken down when a speeding black sedan slammed into the broken-down car and struck Ugbonta.

Ugbonta was killed in the crash. His sister was injured in the crash.

A GoFundMe page was set up to raise money for Ugbonta’s funeral.

The sedan driver, Michael Oluwatobi Tinubu, 30, was uninjured in the crash. He has been charged with intoxication manslaughter.

An investigation is underway.
