Officer Injured in Oak Cliff Car Crash on Interstate 35 near Marsalis Avenue
Oak Cliff, Texas (February 25, 2019) – A off-duty Dallas officer was injured early Monday morning in a two-vehicle crash on a freeway in Oak Cliff, officials said.
The crash occurred at about 3:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Interstate-35 near Marsalis Avenue.
Officials said the officer was working at a construction site on the freeway when a pickup rear-ended their squad car.
The officer sustained injuries in the crash and was going to be fine. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene as a precaution.
Both vehicles were towed away from the scene.
The officials are investigating the crash.
