One Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 2269 near Cameron

One Airlifted after Cameron Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 2269 at CR 221

Cameron, Texas (November 30, 2020) – One person was airlifted Thursday afternoon after a two-vehicle crash outside of Cameron near Marak, according to authorities.

The crash happened around 1:40 p.m., November 26, in the 1800 block of FM 2269 at CR 221.

Authorities said a vehicle was preparing to turn left from FM 2269 onto CR 221. A vehicle behind it attempted to pass on the left and hit the turning vehicle.

The impact sent both vehicles into a ditch.

The driver of the first car was airlifted to the hospital with unknown injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
