One Killed in Car Crash on I-30 in Greenville

One Killed in Greenville Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 30

Greenville, Texas (February 26, 2021) – One person was killed Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Greenville, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 3:10 p.m., February 24, on Interstate 30, near mile marker 93.

According to a preliminary investigation, a white Chevy Malibu and a truck tractor were traveling southwest on the interstate when traffic appeared to slow down.

The Malibu driver didn’t see the traffic slowing down and rear-ended the truck tractor.

The Malibu driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been released.

The truck tractor driver was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
