1 Killed, 3 Injured in Falls County Three-Vehicle Crash on Highway 7 near Brazos River

Falls County, Texas (January 9, 2020) – One person was killed, and three others were injured in a three-vehicle crash on Wednesday near the Brazos River in Falls County, according to the State Troopers.

The accident occurred on Wednesday, January 8, on Highway 7 near CR 183.

Troopers said a Hyundai stopped behind a truck that was heading westbound on Highway 7. The Hyundai was then rear-ended by a Dodge. A Chevrolet was also involved in the crash.

The impact pushed the Hyundai into the banks of the Brazos River.

A man was declared dead at the scene.

A female victim was taken to the hospital with hip injuries.

Two teenagers who were riding in one of the vehicles were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
