One Injured in SE Austin Pedestrian Accident on East Riverside Drive

Austin, Texas (September 5, 2020) – One person was critically injured Saturday night in a pedestrian accident in southeast Austin, officials said.

The accident occurred around 10:30 p.m., September 5, in the 4500 block of East Riverside Drive.

Officials said the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, for unknown reasons, on the roadway.

The victim, an adult, was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center with critical, life-threatening injuries.

No other information about the accident was available.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
