Cassiopeia Hormann-Wolfe Killed in Highland Park Two-Vehicle Crash on US Highway 60

Highland Park, Texas – A woman was killed Monday morning in a two-vehicle crash near Highland Park, according to the DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 6:00 a.m., January 22, on US 60, near Highland Park High School.

DPS said a 1991 Dodge Ram pickup truck was heading westbound on the highway when it veered across the center median and hit the trailer of an eastbound semi-truck.

The pickup truck driver was ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene. She has been identified as 22-year-old Cassiopeia Hormann-Wolfe, of Amarillo. She was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The semi-truck turned over after the collision. The driver was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The crash closed eastbound US 60 at CR 1.

The crash remains under investigation.
