Pedestrian Injured in Crash on Stassney Lane in South Austin

One Hospitalized After South Austin Pedestrian Accident on Stassney Lane

Austin, Texas (July 11, 2020) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle Friday morning in south Austin, according to police.

The accident happened on July 10, in the 700 block of East Stassney Lane.

Police said the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, for unknown reasons, on the street.

The victim was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition.

The crash closed eastbound Stassney Lane between the Interstate 35 frontage road and Mira Drive.

No further details were provided.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
