One Killed in El Paso Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 10 near Schuster

El Paso, Texas (March 18, 2021) – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle Wednesday night in El Paso, according to police.

The deadly accident occurred around 8:00 p.m., March 17, on Interstate 10 eastbound near Schuster.

Police said the pedestrian was running across the freeway when they were struck by a vehicle.

The victim was killed in the crash. Their identity has not been released.

The accident closed all eastbound lanes of I-10 between Schuster and Porfino Diaz.

No further details regarding the crash were available.

The police are investigating the crash.
