Pedestrian Struck, Killed by Vehicle on University Drive in Denton

One Killed in Denton Pedestrian Accident on University Drive near Texas Woman’s University

Denton, Texas (February 8, 2021) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday night in Denton, according to police.

The deadly accident happened around 9:20 p.m., February 6, in the 900 block of W. University Drive, just west of Texas Woman’s University.

Police said a vehicle was traveling westbound when it struck a pedestrian.

The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital, where they later died. Their identity has not been released.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

The police are investigating the crash.
