Peter Batiste Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Highway 105 in Grimes County

Peter Batiste Killed in Grimes County Motorcycle Crash on Highway 105 at CR 204

Grimes County, Texas (December 3, 2022) – A person was killed Thursday afternoon in a motorcycle crash in Grimes County, according to the Texas DPS.

The deadly accident happened just after 4:00 p.m., on Highway 105 at County Road 204 near Plantersville.

DPS said a 2007 Lexus was traveling southbound on County Road 204 while a 2007 Suzuki motorcycle was traveling westbound on Highway 105. The Lexus failed to yield the right of way and struck the motorcycle.

The motorcyclist, 26-year-old Peter Batiste of Spring, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Lexus driver was uninjured in the crash.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
