Man Critically Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on West Loop 1604 at Potranco Road

San Antonio, Texas (November 8, 2020) – A 21-year-old man was critically injured in a two-vehicle crash early Saturday morning in San Antonio, according to authorities.

The crash happened around 2:48 a.m., November 7, on West Loop 1604 at Potranco Road.

Police said a silver truck was traveling southbound while a black sedan was traveling very slowly in the right lane.

The truck driver tried to swerve to avoid the sedan but ended up clipping it.

The force of the impact sent the sedan spinning into a wall.

The sedan driver was trapped in the car. He was taken to University Hospital in critical condition.

The crash closed Loop 1604 for a few hours.

The crash remains under investigation.
