Ramon Caal Cho Killed in Austin Pedestrian Crash on Interstate 35

Austin, Texas (December 8, 2020) – The man who was killed in a pedestrian accident last month in Austin has been identified as Ramon Caal Cho, 19, according to the Austin Police Department.

The deadly accident happened around 12:44 a.m., November 29, near the 8800 block of North I-35.

Police said Cho was crossing the highway from westbound to eastbound when he was struck by a gray 2012 Chevrolet Camaro that was traveling southbound in the center lane.

Cho was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
