Woman Killed in Anna Pedestrian Accident on US 75 near FM 455

Anna, Texas (July 9, 2021) – A woman was hit and killed by a vehicle Thursday afternoon in Anna, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 3:20 p.m., July 8, on US 75, just north of FM 455.

Police said the woman was struck by a southbound vehicle and she was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

The accident closed the southbound lanes of US 75 and traffic was detoured to the service road.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
