2 Injured in San Antonio Motorcycle Crash at Walzem Road and Interstate 35
San Antonio, Texas (January 5, 2019) – Two people were hospitalized last week Monday in a traffic collision in San Antonio, authorities said.
The accident occurred late Monday, December 24 near the intersection of Walzem Road and Interstate 35.
According to the authorities, a man and a woman were both riding their motorcycles on Walzem Road when a car ran through a red light at the intersection, resulting in a collision.
As a result of the crash, both riders were thrown onto the road. The unspecified car fled the scene.
Both victims sustained non-critical injuries and were taken by EMS to a local hospital.
Police said they are still searching for the hit-and-run motorist. The crash remains under investigation.
