34-Year-Old Man Killed in Car Crash on Antoine Drive in Houston

34-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Two-Vehicle Crash on Antoine Drive at West 43rd Street

Houston, Texas (February 15, 2023) – A 34-year-old man was killed Monday night in a two-vehicle crash in Houston, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 9:35 p.m., February 13, in the 4300 block of Antoine Drive at the intersection of West 43rd Street.

Police said the man was driving a black Hyundai Elantra at a high rate of speed southbound on Antoine Drive when he ran the red light at the intersection and struck a silver Jeep Compass, which was heading eastbound on West 43rd Street with a green light.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The Jeep driver, a 59-year-old man, was uninjured in the crash. He was questioned and determined not to be intoxicated.

The police are investigating the crash.
