James Bramlet, Joseph Bramlet Arrested After DUI Crash on Beltway 8 in Houston

James Bramlet and Joseph Bramlet Arrested Following Beltway 8 Car Crash in Houston
Houston, Texas (April 22, 2019) – The suspected drunk drivers who caused a traffic accident that injured two deputies Sunday morning in Houston has been arrested, according to a local news source.
The accident happened on Beltway 8 at Galveston Road Sunday, April 21.
As per the report, the deputies were blocking traffic at the scene of a previous crash when they were struck in a second accident. Two vehicles, a passenger car driven by Joseph Bramlet, 37, and a pickup driven by his twin brother James Bramlet, caused an accident that led the pickup truck to crash into a K-9 patrol vehicle.
One deputy sustained an ankle injury while the other suffered head and neck pain as a result of the accident. Both were taken Southeast Memorial Hospital and have since been released.
A K-9 officer was also in the car was treated at a local vet hospital and he was also released.
The two brothers were intoxicated and were both charged with DUI. James was also charged for unlawfully carrying a weapon.
The crash remains under investigation.
