One Seriously Injured in Austin Pedestrian Accident at Interstate 35 and Brandt Road
Austin, Texas (March 22, 2021) – According to officials, an adult was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident Sunday night in south Austin.
The accident was reported around 9:25 p.m., March 21, at the intersection of Interstate 35 and Brandt Road, south of Slaughter Lane.
Officials said an adult pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, for unknown reasons, at the intersection.
The victim was taken to St. David’s South Austin with potentially serious injuries.
The accident closed northbound I-35 at Slaughter Lane for about 35 minutes.
An investigation is underway.
