Rickey Morrison Killed in Lubbock Pedestrian Accident on Parkway Drive

Lubbock, Texas (June 6, 2023) – A man was killed Sunday night in a pedestrian accident in East Lubbock, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened on June 4, in the 1800 block of Parkway Drive.

Police said 20-year-old Jessie Howle was driving westbound in the right lane when he struck Rickey Morrison, 60, who was walking northbound.

Morrison was taken to University Medical Center, where he later died.

No other information was available.

The police are investigating the crash.
