26-Year-Old Man Killed in Bicycle Crash on West Gulf Bank Road in Houston

26-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Bicycle Crash on West Gulf Bank Road at North Houston-Rosslyn Road

Houston, Texas (March 3, 2023) – A 26-year-old man died after he was involved in a bicycle accident on February 24 in Houston, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 7:20 p.m., in the 7000 block of West Gulf Bank Road at the intersection of North Houston-Rosslyn Road.

Police said a delivery van was heading westbound on Gulf Bank Road when it turned southbound onto North Houston-Rosslyn Road and struck a bicycle that was traveling eastbound on West Gulf Bank and was entering the intersection.

The bicyclist was taken to HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest, where he was pronounced dead on February 28.

The van driver remained at the scene and was questioned and released.

The police are investigating the crash.
