Virginia Basaldua Killed in Lubbock Two-Vehicle Crash on Parkway Drive

Lubbock, Texas (June 2, 2021) – According to the police, a woman was killed Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in East Lubbock.

The fatal crash happened around 4:05 p.m., May 31, in the 1800 block of Parkway Drive.

Police said Virginia Basaldua, 41, was attempting to cross the eastbound traffic to turn westbound into Parkway Drive when her car was struck by a westbound pickup truck.

Basaldua was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police are investigating the crash.
