Ruben Munoz Jr Killed in Odessa Train-Pedestrian Accident on Muskingum

Odessa, Texas (September 26, 2021) – A man was fatally hit by a train Tuesday night in Odessa, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 6:35 p.m., September 21, in the 100 block of N. Muskingum.

Police said Ruben Munoz Jr., 63, of Odessa, was struck by a westbound Union Pacific train at the railroad crossing.

Munoz was killed in the accident.

No other details were available.

The police are investigating the crash.
