Kristyne Iron Killed in Longview Two-Vehicle Crash on Mobberly Avenue

Longview, Texas (January 15, 2020) – One person was killed Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Longview, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened at about 7:21 a.m. in the 2100 Block of Mobberly Avenue.

Police said Kristyne Iron, 57, of Longview, was driving a black Pontiac car northbound when she lost control of her car on the wet road and collided with a white Chrysler Town & Country van.

Iron was ejected upon impact. She was rushed to Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.

The van driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
