One Injured in Travis County Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 71 at Kellam Road

Travis County, Texas (December 30, 2022) – One person was injured in a three-vehicle crash early Thursday morning in Travis County, according to the authorities.

The crash happened around 6:24 a.m., December 29, on Highway 71 at Kellam Road, east of Austin Bergstrom International Airport.

Authorities said three vehicles, including an unmarked Travis County Sheriff’s Office vehicle, were involved in the crash.

One person was treated at the scene for a minor injury.

The detective who was driving the police vehicle was uninjured in the crash.

No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
