Servando Perez Killed in Monte Alto Pedestrian Accident on Valdez Road near Filegonia Road
Monte Alto, Texas (March 10, 2019) – A teen was killed Friday night in a pedestrian accident in Monte Alto, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The deadly accident happened at about 9:59 p.m. March 8, on Valdez Road east of Filegonia Road.
DPS said a black Ford Focus was heading westbound when Servando Perez,14, of Monte Alto, failed to yield and was hit by the car.
Perez was taken to Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg where he later died.
The Ford driver and his two female passengers were uninjured in the accident.
The DPS is investigating the crash.
