Shan Gol Baw Struck, Killed by Vehicle on Amarillo Boulevard in Amarillo

61-Year-Old Shan Gol Baw Killed in Amarillo Pedestrian Accident on Amarillo Boulevard

Amarillo, Texas (May 18, 2020) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident Sunday night in Amarillo, according to police.

The deadly accident took place around 9:31 p.m. May 17, in the 4800 block of East Amarillo Boulevard. 

Police said 61-year-old Shan Gol Baw was walking northbound across the street, outside of a crosswalk, when he was struck by an eastbound 2014 Chevrolet Cruse.

Baw was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Chevrolet driver, a 31-year-old woman, and two children in the car were uninjured in the crash.

The Traffic Investigation Squad of the Amarillo Police Department is investigating the accident.
