Stephen Vance Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on SH 105 in Washington County

Stephen Vance Killed in Washington County Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 105 and FM 2193

Washington County, Texas (October 30, 2023) – A man was killed Sunday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Washington County, according to the troopers.

The fatal crash happened around 9:17 p.m., October 29, in the area of State Highway 105 and Farm-to-Market 2193.

Troopers said Stephen Vance, 47, of Brenham, was driving a Hyundai Elantra northbound on FM 2193 when he attempted to turn westbound on SH 105 from a stop intersection and was struck by a Ford F150 that was traveling eastbound on SH 105.

Vance was taken to Brenham Scott & White Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The Ford driver was uninjured in the crash.

The troopers are investigating the crash.
