Three Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Loop 335 in South Amarillo

3 Hospitalized after South Amarillo Two-Vehicle Crash on Loop 335 at Capt. Woodrow Call Trail

Amarillo, Texas (April 8, 2020) – Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning in south Amarillo, according to officials.

The crash occurred on Loop 335 at Hollywood Road and Capt. Woodrow Call Trail.

Officials said a Toyota Prius was traveling southbound on Capt. Woodrow Call Trail approaching Loop 335, while a Ford F-150 pickup truck was traveling westbound on Loop 335.

The driver of the Toyota failed to yield the right-of-way on the loop and collided with the Ford.

The driver of the Toyota was airlifted to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver and passenger of the Ford were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Motorists were urged to avoid the area.

The crash remains under investigation.
