Tiffany Rich (Dove) Killed in Whitney Pedestrian Accident on FM 933 near HCR 1221

Whitney, Texas (October 13, 2023) – According to the Texas DPS, a pedestrian was killed last week in a hit-and-run accident north of Whitney.

The deadly accident happened just before 7:00 a.m., October 4, on Farm Road 933 near HCR 1221.

DPS said Tiffany Ann Rich (Dove) was walking southbound on the highway when she was struck by a vehicle. 

Rich was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

The troopers are investigating the crash. Anyone who witnessed or anyone who might have information regarding the crash is asked to contact the Hill County Sheriff’s Office at 254-582-5313.
