Toni Kinnard Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on SH 35 near Aransas Pass

Toni Kinnard Killed in Aransas Pass Pedestrian Accident on State Highway 35

Aransas Pass, Texas (December 3, 2020) – A woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash Saturday night, 3 miles south of Aransas Pass, according to the DPS.

The deadly accident happened at about 10:40 p.m., November 28, on State Highway 35 bypass.

Surveillance video from a nearby business showed that a light-colored pickup struck Toni Kinnard, 61, of San Antonio, and then fled the scene.

Kinnard was found lying in the center median and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The authorities are looking for the suspect.

An investigation is underway. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call Texas Highway Patrol at 361-698-5600.
