One Killed in Houston Two-Vehicle Crash on Fidelity; Herbert Talley Arrested

Houston, Texas (January 21, 2021) – One person was killed in a hit-and-run crash Tuesday morning in Houston’s east side, according to police.

The fatal crash happened around 9:30 a.m., January 19, in the 700 block of Fidelity.

Police said 19-year-old Herbert Talley was driving an Infiniti sedan at a high rate of speed when he crashed into a Kia. The impact caused the Kia to flip over, and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Talley fled the scene but was later found and taken to the hospital for treatment. He has been charged with failure to stop and render aid.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
