Man Killed in Galveston Crash near Gulf Freeway and Teichman Road

Galveston, Texas (February 25, 2019) – A tow truck driver was killed when he was hit by a vehicle that also struck a patrol car on Saturday in Galveston, according to the authorities.
The incident happened near the Gulf Freeway and Teichman Road on Saturday, February 23.
Police said a tow truck driver was assisting DPS troopers clear a scene when a driver crashed into the patrol unit, narrowly missing a trooper and hit the tow truck operator.
The victim was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
No other injuries were reported.
The crash is under investigation.
