Two Including Police Officer Injured in San Antonio Multi-Vehicle Crash at Presa and Southeast Military

San Antonio, Texas (December 2, 2023) – Two people, including a San Antonio police officer, were injured Friday evening in a DWI crash in San Antonio’s southeast side, according to the police.

The crash happened around 9:10 p.m., December 1, at the intersection of Presa and Southeast Military.

Police said the officer was responding to a burglary call and was driving through the intersection with his sirens on when a dark-colored truck T-boned him.

At least three other cars were found along Southeast Military and believed to have been involved in the crash.

The truck driver, a man in his 60s, was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The officer was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The crash closed the intersection for several hours.

The police are investigating the crash.
